About Me

I love reading, teaching and cooking. I exercise so I can eat. (Losing weight would be a bonus.) I've been a special education teacher for 32 years and I really like it. I also enjoy traveling but I think I plan more that I actually travel.

Transitions

So Seattle it is.

I survived our beach vacation. Oh, the long days of sitting by the gulf with life long friends and drinking a beverage of choice. The biggest decision of the day being "do I make sandwiches for the guys and walk from the house to the beach with them?"

Then it's back to reality: Finding and job, selling a house. What's my priority? My husband says both, hm.... I can only stand so much of either at one time, so I do a little of one and then work on the other.

My oldest son has left for his own adventure in Argentina. His blog notes a lot of the feeling I have, but of course his adventure takes a lot more courage. What he has left behind is a lot of stuff I have to make presentable in our "pristine" house.
My first task - finding what he brought home that smells like cat pee!
